Reporting & Recordkeeping Requirements

Facilities must remain in compliance with their air permit.

Aires' years of experience in assisting facilities in obtaining their air permits has allowed us to provide the same quality of service for assisting facilities with their record keeping and reporting requirements. Aires provides the following services to assist facilities in their record and reporting requirements. (Note: State reporting requirements will vary from state to state).

  • Establish, organize and train facilities on applicable recordkeeping and reporting requirements
  • Develop an Air Emissions Inventory
  • Assist in the submittal of Annual Air Emission Reports
  • Provide assistance with renewal or changes to established air permits

Title V Permits

As part of a Title V Permit Application, a compliance certification must also be submitted. The compliance certification will document that the facility operating under the permit will report no less than annually the compliance status of the facility with respect to each applicable requirement for the previous year. The compliance certification must be submitted to the EPA as well as the appropriate permitting Agency.

Title V permits renew every 5 years.

State Operating Permits

Each state differs in their recordkeeping and reporting requirements. For example, the State of Illinois requires that an Annual Air Emissions Report be submitted to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency by May 1st of each year documenting the previous years compliance status.

Aires has over 18 years of experience providing both large and small facilities assistance in the submittal of required state paperwork in order to remain in compliance with their air permit.
